Bits And Pieces

My husband sent me to the bank this morning.  I hate going to banks.  Normally, he does the banking on Saturdays, but he was too busy and so I got the wonderful task of getting dressed (I don't think the bank tellers would appreciate me showing up in my PJ's); getting out in the cold, damp wind; and driving 20 minutes to the bank.  Naturally I didn't want to go inside, so I pulled up at the drive-through window and gave them my transactions.  I waited for my receipt.  I waited.  I waited.  I waited.  I waited.  I waited about 20 minutes.  Fortunately, no one in that 20 minutes pulled up behind me.  Finally, they handed me my receipt, bid me a good-day and pulled the bank drawer back in.  I felt like they were doing me a favor by making me sit there so long.

We are really into the program "24".  We have the first four or five (however many there are out now) seasons.  Just as soon as the last member of my family gets home, we gather in the family room and eat our dinner while we watch 24.  We also have the first season of MacGyver on DVD.  I used to just love that show, now I'm enjoying it all over again.  In my opinion, the older programming, from the 60's through the 80's, are more worthwhile to watch.  Thank goodness they're starting to bring back some of the old shows on DVD!

I'm waiting and saving for Hawaii Five-O to be released on DVD!

Of course, if you really want to be entertained, you can always tune into the Judge shows on TV.
